It is fast approaching the end of season – a fantastic first season back in the Championship for PNE First Team. To celebrate it, Preston North End are holding a community day at Deepdale on Sunday 1st May. All proceeds will be going to charity chosen and very close to Simon Grayson – Prostate Cancer UK.
There will be activities on offer for the whole family throughout the day, with the main attraction being a charity football match, one you can take part in!
A team made of celebrities and former players from PNE and across football (such as Graham Alexander, Paul McKenna, Mark Lawrenson and many others) will be led by manager Simon Grayson as they take on a team of fans led by current members of PNE First Team.
Not only it is going to be a great day for PNE community, but also for little Rocco who is only 6 months old. Rocco’s christening will be hosted in the Invincibles Lounge which has pitch view allowing the guests to watch the match whilst enjoying bit of food and drinks. There will be 150 members of family & friends attending – Rocco’s first of many more parties to come.
Rocco has been presented with the opportunity to be the mascot for the charity match on his special day. He will be able to meet the full squad who will be in attendance, participate in the warm up and most importantly – have the honour of leading the team out on the pitch. Rocco’s loving parent will be alongside to capture these very special moments.
The only thing to make the day that tiny bit better for all spectators, participants, Rocco and his guests would be glorious weather. With not a cloud in the sky and plenty of sunshine it is guaranteed to be a great family day out.
